Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell
he Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell of V.S.S.D. College, Kanpur is committed to promoting awareness, education, and innovation in the field of Intellectual Property Rights among students, faculty members, researchers, and other professionals. The Cell aims to foster a culture of creativity, research, and responsible innovation by disseminating knowledge about patents, copyrights, trademarks, geographical indications, industrial designs, and other forms of intellectual property.
The IPR Cell regularly organizes Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, seminars, expert lectures, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen understanding of Intellectual Property Rights and encourage quality research and innovation. It also provides guidance on the protection, management, and commercialization of intellectual property generated through academic and research activities.
Through its various academic initiatives, the Cell strives to develop an ecosystem that promotes ethical research practices, innovation, and respect for intellectual property, thereby contributing to academic excellence and nation-building.
