Dr. Rakesh Kumar Shukl is a Professor in the Hindi Department at V.S.S.D College, Kanpur, specializing in modern Poetry, Poetry and Criticism of literature. He has published two research-review books, two anthology of poems twelve edited books, along with over two hundred research papers articles and book review. Shukla has guided 19 research scholars and delivered more than two dozen talks show broadcast by Akashvani Lucknow. As a guest speaker, he has given over five dozen lectures and has received more than a dozen honors and awards for his contributions to Hindi literature.
