Dr. Rakesh Kumar Pandey is a Professor in the Department of Law at V.S.S.D. College, Kanpur, with over 29 years of teaching experience. A distinguished alumnus of Banaras Hindu University (Law School), he holds LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. Specializing in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, and Jurisprudence, Dr. Pandey secured first position in LL.M. and received a UGC merit scholarship. He has supervised two LL.M. dissertations and four Ph.D. research scholars. He has worked as Dean of the Faculty of Law at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, and key administrative roles including Convenor of IQAC and member of the Executive Council and Examination Committee. He has published several research papers and organized numerous seminars. He is presently member of Academic Council of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.
