Dr. M. B. Pandey is working as Professor of Physics at VSSD College Kanpur. Dr. Pandey has earned his Master degree in Physics from Banaras Hindu University Varanasi in 2000 and his Ph D from University of Allahabad in 2005 in the realm of Liquid Crystals. Since then he explored various aspect of material science through experimental tools specially Liquid Crystals such as Liquid Crystals Colloids, Antiferroelectric Liquid Crystals, Liquid Crystals Mixtures, TGB phases and many more. He has more than fifty publications to his credit in international journal of repute indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He received prestigious ‘BOYSCAST Fellowship’ awarded by DST and worked at University of Colorado in Boulder, USA for a year. Dr Pandey has visited Poland, Germany, South Korea, USA and delivered lecture at various universities there. He is also receipients of Young Scientist Award of SERC-DST and BRNS, Government of India. Dr. Pandey has completed 04 major research projects successfully sanctioned to him by DST, BRNS and UGC, Government of India. He is the life member of various academic bodies such as the National Academy of Science India, Indian Association of Physics, International Liquid Crystals Society USA and Indian Association of Physics Teachers. He is the council member of Indian Liquid Crystals Society and the President of RC-04A of IAPT. He is actively involved in popularization of science and Physics Teaching through Anveshika and IAPT.
