Dr. Raina serves as an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department at VSSD College, Kanpur. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemosensors (2023) from MNNIT Allahabad, focusing on the optical detection of cyanide using dicarboxylic acid dihydrazide derivatives in aqueous medium. He holds an M.Sc. in Chemistry and a B.Sc. from the University of Allahabad. His research has led to multiple publications, in journal like Springer Nature, Elsevier and ACS (American Chemical Society) on cyanide detection and His work emphasizes synthesis of chemosensor, aggregation induced emission based sensor.
