The Institutional Innovation Cell at VSSD College, Kanpur, is established in alignment with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and UGC guidelines to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.

It promotes startup ecosystems, ideation, and intellectual property rights through workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs. The cell organizes events like hackathons, innovation challenges, and interactions with successful entrepreneurs to encourage creative thinking.

It supports incubation of ideas, patent filing, and collaboration with industry for real-world problem-solving. By nurturing innovative projects, the cell aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and contribute to national initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat. Overall, it plays a vital role in transforming the college into a hub for institutional innovation.
