On July 17, 2026, the Department of Law, VSSD College, Kanpur, organized an expert session on “Professional Ethics for Law Students” to highlight the importance of ethics and integrity in the legal profession.

Hon'ble Justice Anil Verma (Madhya Pradesh High Court) emphasized that legal knowledge is meaningful only when guided by honesty, sensitivity, and professional ethics. Senior Advocate Shri Yatindra Shukla encouraged students to develop discipline, analytical skills, and ethical conduct to become responsible legal professionals. CA Neetu Singh, Secretary, Management Committee, highlighted that along with academic excellence, ethical values and professional conduct are essential for the holistic development of students. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Neeru Tandon stated that legal education should promote justice, equality, and constitutional values while inspiring students to uphold the dignity of the legal profession through ethical conduct. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Pandey, Incharge, Department of Law, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, advocates, and law students.
