Dr. P. S. Dobal is a Professor of Physics at the VSSD College Kanpur. He obtained his Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur and completed Post-doctoral from USA. Dr. Dobal has over 30 years of research experience in the area of experimental condensed matter physics. His research interests lie in the area of novel materials, especially the structure-property correlation investigations on ferroelectric, dielectric, other advanced oxide materials. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed papers and nine book chapters, and has presented at over 25 national and international conferences. Dr. Dobal actively supervises student research and teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also serves in academic committees of the college and the university.
